I went to ToPK once and someone seriously asked for a activation code. You just can't get rid of them.

maybe Anet should just watch ToPk all the time for this. i can't help but feel that it doesn't just start when i am there.

EDIT: after watching the chat the advertiser seems to do it at totally equal intervals (45seconds) could they be using an advertbot?

I was in TOPK the other day and said man I should sell my account on eBay. I was just joking around then next time a go to login I find out am suspended for 1 week. Some of the Nerdy ppl just need to back off and take a joke and not report everything they see and hear I mean common. Now the bot spamming yeah report it. I just ignore it I rather play the game then spend time trying to suck up to ANet for a hero badge damn. Lucky I have 5 accounts so I’m just playing on another account. /rant off

maybe they will get the idea soon.
and no i don't report people bantering about Ebay. why should i?
i would then be likely to report all swearing. i'd never be able to stop!

i watched this guy for like half an hour before the first report

Oh man, just because you're rank 8 means you can break rules? Sweet, I'm going to PvP now.

I've seen the same sort of thing, anybody play in the morning see the nugs guy? I reported that one each day i saw it, and i won't quit doing it.

Good to see others like me, I'm sure anet will continue to try fighting them as well... although i can see how repetitive it may get...

And, yes they're bots.

I saw them the other day both in pre searing, as well as post too. I wondered what the heck was going on.

Play the game and let Anet worry about this. Not only are there too many of them, but most people don't buy this stuff. Or did you spend $50 to police a videogame? I sure as heck didn't and I am not going to waste my valuable gaming time doing something Anet employees get PAID to do.

Turn off local and go have fun in the game. Let someone else play gaming cop.
